This makes for a lot of good lessons for kids (and adults) without feeling like their trying to hit you over the head with it. The show entertained and expressed more complicated characters and relationships than I anticipated, often showing both the right way and wrong way to handle situations. I really wasn't expecting much from a show obviously aimed at young girls, but I found myself pleasantly surprised. Joe, so watching it again on DVD was pretty much like seeing it for the first time. I did watch this show when I was a kid, but I never became obsessed with it like I did with Transformers and G.I. If all three series seem to have similar artwork and animation, it's because they were all made by the same company. Joe and only one year after The Transformers. For those that don't remember, or are just too young or too old to know, Jem and the Holograms is an animated show that came out in 1985, same year as G.I.
